Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the aeda website and software. By accessing or using aeda, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Nature of the Service
aeda is a non-custodial software wallet. This means:
- You maintain full control and ownership of your private keys and funds at all times
- aeda does not hold, store, or have access to your funds
- aeda is not a bank, payment service provider, or financial institution
- We do not facilitate, process, or settle fiat currency transactions
User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for securing your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrase
- You are responsible for all transactions made through your wallet
- You must not use aeda for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- If you lose your recovery phrase, we cannot recover your funds — there is no “forgot password” option for non-custodial wallets
Beta Service & Disclaimer
aeda is currently in beta. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that all features will remain available. Features may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time during the beta period.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aeda and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or profits.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of aeda after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
